REBECCA WARREN et al.
Breaking the Mould: Sculpture by Women since 1945 (group show)
An Arts Council Collection Touring Exhibition
This major new touring exhibition challenges the male-dominated narratives of post-war British sculpture by presenting a diverse and significant range of ambitious work by women. Offering a radical recalibration, Breaking the Mould not only celebrates the strengths of sculpture made by women but also seeks to guard against the threat of slipping out of view. Through this deliberately restorative act, the exhibition seeks to inspire future generations, supporting the maxim ‘if she can see it she can be it’.
Breaking the Mould represents the work of over forty-five sculptors including Rebecca Warren.

ASensitiv GIACOMETTI / WARREN (duo show)
Institut Giacometti, Paris
21 April – 2 July 2023
At the invitation of the Fondation Giacometti, Rebecca Warren – one of contemporary art’s leading protagonists – has selected a number of Alberto Giacometti works from their collection to show alongside her own, including some new work made especially for this exhibition.
In ASensitiv, Warren analyses the revealing and possibly hallucinatory connections when her work meets the art and personality of Alberto Giacometti. Combining sculptures, paintings and drawings, this exhibition presents an opportunity to consider her work in relation to one of the masters of modern art.
